Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Lead Mammo Technologist, you will perform a variety of routine mammography related procedures by operating x-ray equipment on designated areas. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of Common Spirit Health.
- Capable of obtaining quality mammograms and radiographs using proper exposure, markers, and sheilding, and knows how to use portable ex-ray machines and c-arms.
- Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for procedure.
- Able to perform all Mammography exams including localizations/stereotactic biopsies, print images, and perform CAD on digital images.
- Quality control and assurance; including ACR accreditation, MQS/FDA inspections and all required quality control tests.
- Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations, Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.
- Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology.
Preferred
- 1-3 years Experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Pay Range$34.85 – $51.84 /hour
