American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care Critical Access Hospital, with cross-training coverage in X-ray required.

• Acute care Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting in a CT department
• Imaging performed includes ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies — all CT procedures except cardiac and perfusion studies
• Must be available to float and cover X-ray as needed
• Equipment includes a Siemens 64-slice CT scanner, Siemens C-arm, standard X-ray, and GE portable X-ray
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule with varied weekends and holidays
• Shift lengths of 8 or 10 hours with mixed shift and varied start times
• Holiday coverage is required
• On-call or standby requirement with an unspecified response time
• Night shift techs work independently; a radiology supervisor or lead tech is available by phone during nights

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT certification and BLS required — pending certifications are not accepted
• ND state license required if applicable — pending licenses will not be accepted
• Must be proficient in X-ray, including portable X-ray
• Experience with MEDITECH EMR preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may not currently be employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration

• Perform CT imaging for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations across a broad range of studies, excluding cardiac and perfusion imaging
• Cross-coverage in X-ray is a regular expectation of this role
• Orientation length is dependent on individual experience
• Candidates with facial hair must pass a fit test (3M Aura 1860 or 3M 1870+); those unable to pass and unwilling to remove facial hair may not be eligible, as PAPR and Portacount testing are not available on-site as alternatives
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved
• Collaborative and supportive team environment where staff are cross-trained across multiple areas
• Successful candidates in this department demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and approachability
