What You’ll DoAct as a trusted advisor and integrated architecture support for our delivery teams, guiding clients on solution delivery and designing cutting‑edge Appian solutions that fit their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities- Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, Dev Sec Ops , and program initiatives.
- Collaborate with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver tailored solutions.
- Coach implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies.
- Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
- Integrate multi‑tier architecture via integrations and system configuration.
- Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back‑office implementations.
- Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles.
- Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
- Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
- Mentor, train, and enable resources.
- 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
- 6+ years of related IT experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Active Appian Lead Certification.
- Strong experience with Agile delivery.
- Strong technical implementation and database design skills.
- Experience evaluating and resolving security issues found during system testing.
- Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
- Experience implementing Cloud, On‑Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts plainly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area.
- U.S. Citizen required.
- Willingness to travel 0‑15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX.
- RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Authentication (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
- Web services, integrations, and middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
- Cloud Computing/IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Source Control (Git, SVN, CVS).
- Software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
