Band Saw Operator

Overview

Ironworks Welding Inc. is hiring a full-time Band Saw Operator in Dickinson, ND. This role operates and maintains an automated bandsaw to cut and trim materials to exact specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy for clients.

This position offers $20–$26 per hour

This is a full-time position that regularly requires long hours, after-hours, and weekend work as job duties demand.

You spend your day setting up and operating an automated bandsaw, reviewing work orders and blueprints to ensure every cut meets precise specifications. You measure and mark materials with accuracy, inspect each piece for squareness and surface quality, and make adjustments as needed to maintain top standards. You handle routine maintenance, such as blade changes, keep your workspace organized, and follow strict safety protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
• Adaptable to changing conditions and operational demands
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended hours
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math for measurements and tolerances
• Ability to work hard in physically demanding work
• Ability to build trust and promote a positive safety culture
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a team
• Experience operating a forklift/skid steer is preferred
