Clinic Immunization Specialist RN

** Job Summary and Responsibilities*
* As our Clinic Immunization Specialist RN at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help our patients, their families, and our healthcare team stay protected from preventable diseases so they can achieve optimal health and well-being within our community.

Every day you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive immunization care for selected patient populations. You will be expected to remain current with the latest immunization standards, educate the team on best practices, and meticulously manage vaccine inventory and data within NDIIS.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong clinical background as a Registered Nurse, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of current immunization guidelines and regulations.

+ Continues education with the latest standards for immunizations and vaccinations.

+ Assists in educating the team on newest standards.

+ Works closely with NDIIS for auditing, tracking, and information input.

+ Maintains state and private inventory.

+ Participates in annual state immunization evaluations.

* + Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)

+ Registered Nurse:
North Dakota or Compact License.

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card (BLS-CPR).

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of Common Spirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

* $29.51 - $43.89 /hour
