Certifications
Required:
BLS, ACLS, NRP.
NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT.
FIT TESTING / FACIAL HAIR - Please note, if a clinician for this facility has facial hair, they will be required to pass the either the Primary or Secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or reg/3M 1870+). If unable to pass - A Portacount test would be required, which CANNOT be completed on clinicians with facial hair & PAPR CANNOT be completed on site solely due to failing because of facial hair - contract would be canceled if facial hair cannot be removed.
- # of L&D Beds: 4 L&D beds, 7 postpartum.
- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? Labor: 1:1-2, Post Partum: 1:2-3.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: >35 weeks in labor, Mom/Baby couplets.

- Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes.
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
Antepartum/Labor
- Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, etc.
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 7-7 // block scheduling.
- Weekend Requirements:
Every third weekend.
- Holiday Requirements:
Depending on availability.
- Floating Requirements:
Floating to MSP/ED for helping hands, mostly sitting 1:1 with patients.
- Scrubs:
Provided.
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3- 12 hour shifts.
- Additional Notes:
This is a rural hospital, distance from NICU >1 hour away, limited services.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
