Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Dickinson, North Dakota, 58601!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Dickinson, ND

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Block Scheduling | Every Third Weekend Required

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients (?35 weeks) and postpartum mother/baby couplets across a 4-bed L&D and 7-bed postpartum unit
• Titrate and manage drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other antepartum/postpartum medications per protocol
• Monitor fetal status using the OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) system
• Assist with neonatal respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices
• Circulate for the newborn during C-section procedures in collaboration with the surgical team
• Float to other units (Med/Surg or ED) as needed to provide 1:1 patient support

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Ability to titrate drips independently per unit protocols
• Ability to pass required N95 fit testing (3M Aura 1860 or 3M 1870+); facial hair must not interfere with fit test compliance
• Ability to work every third weekend and meet holiday scheduling requirements based on availability
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract

• Experience working in a rural or low-resource hospital setting with limited ancillary support
• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines and labor/postpartum ratios (Labor 1:1–2; Postpartum 1:2–3)
• Strong independent clinical decision-making skills and effective communication with care teams

• Scrubs are provided, and a structured 3-shift unit-specific orientation is offered to support a smooth transition onto the unit
• Work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values provider consistency, clinical knowledge, and strong communication
