Senior Quality Specialist – JE Dunn Construction

Bring your expertise in construction quality to a company committed to building excellence for over a century.

• Monitor and coordinate the project quality program, reviewing documents and attending meetings.
• Conduct walk‑through inspections and investigate non‑compliant conditions.
• Maintain documentation of quality assurance processes, test results and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
• Assist with constructability reviews and schedule third‑party compliance inspections.
• Prepare reports for field superintendents, project managers and subcontractors.
• Support the creation of National Initiatives such as Quality Assurance Manual Updates, Quality Broadcasts and Quality University.

• 5+ years construction quality‑related experience (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management or related field (Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, material testing and construction assemblies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and JE Dunn construction and quality software tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and building codes.
• Experience with field testing for QA processes and basic constructability reviews.

• Ability to perform work accurately, completely and timely.
• Interim quality assurance testing – water, moisture content, material compatibility and adhesion.
• Mentoring less experienced co‑workers on advanced quality topics.

• Valid unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require periods of overnight travel and non‑traditional hours.
• Normal office environment with exposure to extreme conditions.
