Lab Tech- Aggregate Tester

The Aggregate Tester is responsible for testing volume, weight, density, moisture, compaction, air void and content of aggregate/road materials. This position covers the Northern Region (North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, & Wyoming.). This is an hourly, full‑time, non‑exempt position. This position includes the use of a company vehicle or vehicle lease option and requires extensive overnight travel.

• Collect material samples on job site
• Test material samples to ensure product needs meet the specifications for the project
• Work with job foreman to ensure material is being produced to required specifications
• Communicate sample results with Fisher Sand & Gravel management and project owner's representatives
• Measure stockpiles
• Assist crew with setup, teardown, and operation of plant
• Prospect for new aggregate sources
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Mut be 18 years of age or older
• Requires extensive overnight travel
• Good math & computer skills
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
