Position Summary

This position is responsible for the creation, revision, and maintenance of manufacturing processes. This includes all production shop processes and production control/order processes. Will help monitor capacity and capability within the shop.

• Create and maintain manufacturing process definitions using SAP’s (Standard Assembly Procedures), SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), and BOP’s (Basic Operating Procedures).
• Participate in LEAN events such as Kaizens, value Stream mapping, 5S, and VAVE. Gather information, complete action items, and follow-up on items.
• Complete NCR’s (Non-conformance requests).
• Leads productivity improvement projects. Will implement training and activities and champion completion of projects in a timely manner.
• Complete plant layouts of equipment, flow, storage, and exterior items.
• Completes time and motion analysis studies.
• Works in the production shop to learn the processes and come up with recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
• Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.

• This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree.
