Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Denny's Electric is looking for a skilled in-house mechanic to maintain our fleet along with some heavy equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming for maximum reliability and functionality. An excellent mechanic will have good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They will be well-versed in complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of vehicles and heavy equipment and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical and hydraulic components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance work aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair or replace parts as necessary.
• Keep logs on work performed.
• Demonstrate dependability.

Mechanic Skills:

• Proven experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic components, and hydraulic systems of trucks, vehicles, heavy equipment, and trailers.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
