The Field Technician w/CDL 1 operates a commercial vehicle and provides delivery and setup of the Company’s rental equipment to customer locations. Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment in the field in a safe and efficient manner.

• Work with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity. Provide a position of professionalism to others.
• Deliver, set up, swap, and fuel equipment at customer locations.
• Operate Company commercial vehicles pulling trailers and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Maintain and complete required logbooks, DVIR, and all other DOT required forms.
• Complete starting and charging repairs on ICE (internal combustion engine) powered equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
• Use all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Follow procedures to complete Short Service Employee requirements.
• Adhere to all state and federal DOT laws.
• Complete all required monthly safety and equipment-related trainings.
• Answer Company-issued cell phone during on-call hours, in accordance with Company and safety policies.
• Perform any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License.
• High School or GED equivalent, some college preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance.
• Requires basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Must be able to drive long distances/periods in Company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds required.
• Requires understanding of basic maintenance concepts needed to perform light to moderate repairs as necessary.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent they understand verbal and written instructions in English.
