Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
The Field Lube Technician is responsible for supporting field operations by fueling, servicing, and performing preventive maintenance on heavy machinery. This role requires an organized, safety‑conscious individual who works closely with operators, supervisors, and the maintenance team to minimize downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Fuel and service equipment following fueling and spill prevention protocols
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including greasing and checking fluid levels
- Conduct daily inspections to identify and report leaks, wear, or safety concerns
- Complete minor repairs (e.g., replacing filters, fixing lights, repairing hoses, tightening components) and escalated major issues to mechanics
- Adhere to all safety standards, including proper PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Utilize the Core Values to promote a positive and professional working environment through peer recognition, support, and clear communication while collaborating effectively with teams
- Lead by example and encourage accountability both up and down the chain of command
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including lubrication services
- Knowledge of oils, greases, fluids, and basic preventive care for equipment
- Competent in reading service manuals, maintenance logs, and work orders
- Must provide and maintain personal tools and field equipment
- Capable of lifting 50–70 lbs and working in a variety of conditions, including outdoors and under vehicles
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
- Required to have a reliable form of transportation to and from work
