As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will support and oversee repair of Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools to complete jobs in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety training and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart’s Refrigeration HVAC safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work at heights as required.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with large‑scale rack refrigeration (preferred).

• Commercial driving record with no violent convictions in last 5 years.
• Completion of a 2‑year HVAC/R vocational or technical program.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand, power tools, and testing equipment.

• Hourly rate $29.00 - $58.00/hr; actual rate will be >= local minimum wage.
