Asphalt Plant Foreman

Job Functions:

• Operating a Mobile Asphalt Plant with up-to-date computerized equipment controls
• Oversee plant maintenance and operation
• Ensure that the equipment & plant functions as designed at all time
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment malfunctions in order to minimize downtime as well as striving to improve equipment/plant operating efficiency to maximize production, save time, save fuel, and minimize labor
• In charge of plant tear-down and plant sets
• Daily reporting

Job Requirements:

• Seeking a candidate with at least two (2) seasons of experience operating a hot asphalt plant; however, we are willing to perform additional training as required
• Moderate to heavy lifting, bending, reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs and ladders frequently, kneeling, and stooping
• Clear and effective communication skills (speech, vision, hearing/listening, writing, etc.)
• Valid driver license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug &/or alcohol screens

Work Week / Job Duration:

Typically work 50 to 70+ hours, 5-6 days per week, depending on the weather & project status. Work is generally from thaw until freeze-up.
