Shop Technician Intern: Mentored, Hands-On Maintenance

As a Technician Intern, you will be part of the Shop Maintenance team at Baranko Companies. In this hands-on learning role, you'll be guided by a mentor as you work with the best equipment in our fleet. RESPONSIBLITIES

• Learn and perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Explore diagnostic flow and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.
• Follow manufacturer's specifications and repair procedures.
• Familiarize yourself with the inventory of spare parts, performing regular stock checks, and ordering new parts.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including work orders, inspection reports, and any other relevant documents.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• A strong interest in a career in maintenance or construction.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and be available for after-hours and on-call assignments when needed.
• Must pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
