Derrickhands - 14/14 - Oilfield Ops - Dickinson, ND

Derrickhands are sought by Patterson-UTI Drilling Company LLC to join their team in Dickinson, North Dakota. This role is responsible for managing mud systems, overseeing Floor hands and Motor hands, and supporting drilling operations. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and in challenging weather conditions. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically fit, and able to work rotational shifts in remote locations.

• At least 3 months of Derrickhand experience (external applicants) or 3 months as a Motorhand (internal applicants)
• Ability to work at heights (50 ft. or greater) for extended periods
• Physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds independently
• Ability to climb ladders and work while wearing a harness
• Clear communication skills in English (read, write, speak)
• Willingness to travel to and work in remote locations on a 14/14 rotational schedule
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug/alcohol testing and background checks
• Willingness and ability to attend and complete classroom training and testing

• 6 months of experience as a Derrickhand
• High School Diploma or GED
