Position: Software Engineer-Developer 4

Location: Tinker AFB, Oklahoma (Onsite)

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our software team located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software system and subsystem engineering models. The engineer will collaborate with a diverse team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software used to monitor and test the system.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software system and subsystem engineering models using Jira.
• Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software.
• Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize system and subsystem components for systems integrations.
• Serve as a system and subsystem resource to team members.
• Debug and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.

• Ability to code in C and/or ADA.
• Experience with JIRA.

• This position requires a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.

• Embedded software design experience is preferred.

• The position is fully onsite at Tinker AFB.
• The work schedule is full-time, first shift, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• This role follows a 9x80 work schedule.
• Overtime of up to 10% may be expected.
