Overview

Data Engineer, Mid level. As a data engineer at Booz Allen, you will work on mission‑driven projects, building and maintaining large data pipelines and platforms that help clients uncover insights from structured and unstructured data. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

• Implement data engineering activities, deploying and developing pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
• Guide and collaborate with analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers.
• Manage assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
• Use analytical exploration and data examination to support mission requirements.

• Experience with SQL, Java, or Python and Spark.
• Proficiency working with highly structured data and manipulating data across tables.
• Knowledge of different data types, sources, and data modeling.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Advanced data modeling experience, including entity resolution.

Salary range: $62,000–$141,000annualized (USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week qualify for the full benefits program.
