Benz Oil Company Driver Position

Benz Oil Company is the Killdeer ND area's leading provider of quality diesel, gas, propane, methanol, and lubricants for agricultural, industrial, and residential customers. The driver position is responsible for delivering petroleum products (fuel, oil, methanol and/or Propane) to Benz Oil customers (local and oilfield) as ordered and adhering to all safety regulations in the hauling, loading, and delivery processes.

Hours/Work Life Balance/Schedule Options: 20 days on and 8 days off or 10 days on and 4 days off 10-hour days (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) Overtime available

• Pre-Trip Inspections
• Drive tractor-trailer truck, straight truck, boom truck and/or bobcat
• Complete paperwork that is neat and legible and submit it in a timely manner (Invoices, JSA's, BOL's, etc.)
• Collect payments
• Work as a team member and respect co-workers
• Adhere so all safety regulations
• Take/follow direction from Dispatch Supervisor
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Deliver and set fuel / propane tanks and cubes
• Load, unload, stack or wrap containers, materials, or products
• Load truck
• Fill propane cylinders as needed for customers
• Work in Warehouse as needed
• Examine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed
• Transport petroleum products
• Verify the products being delivered match the orders
• Report all vehicle maintenance and repairs issues to shop manager
• Service vehicle with water, fuel, or oil
• Maintain driver log according to I.C.C. regulations
• Maintains current training records as advised by safety department
• Use established traffic or transportation procedures
• Follow traffic laws
• Perform safety inspections in transportation setting

• Use basic math skills
• Read maps & use geographic positioning system (GPS)
• Use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportation
• Use weighing or measuring devices in transportation
• Lift or move objects up to 75 pounds
• Use various hand tools
• Operate a cell phone
• Climb truck ladders
• Drive truck with capacity greater than 3 tons
• Operate cleaning equipment
• Use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment
• Use truck-mounted hydraulic lifts or other accessories

Class A or B License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
