Delivery And Treater Driver
As a combination Delivery and Treater Driver at Jacam Catalyst, you will deliver hazardous chemicals and treat oilfield wells according to customer specifications, safely and responsibly maintain all equipment required to perform job functions and be home every night. Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employees could be faced with working in extreme temperatures. Employees must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds, and manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude are helpful. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, a hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S Monitor as required or needed.
Essential functions include completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment, scheduling daily routes for treating customers' wells, treating oil and gas wells to prevent corrosion, paraffin scale, foaming, emulsions, etc., delivering chemicals and treating wells in a timely manner, properly maintaining and operating the forklift, treater truck, and all company equipment, providing excellent customer service skills with all customers and field office personnel, maintaining the highest level of safety at all times, and working well independently and in a team atmosphere.
Qualifications include a high school graduate or general education degree (GED), minimum of 2 years previous oilfield experience handling hazardous chemicals and treating high-pressure wells, possession of a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements, a Class A CDL to drive a tractor-trailer combination, a current Medical Examiner's Certification, forklift certification preferred, and the ability to read maps and follow driving directions.
Skills and abilities
include basic computer skills, customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and physical abilities to lift and carry 100 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55 gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.
