Job Summary
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant at Harbison‑Fischer located in Dickinson, ND
. The role supports a global technology organization and involves a wide range of administrative and office duties.
- Coordinate documents and correspondence including letters, reports, emails, presentations, memos, and faxes.
- Review documents and proofread work for grammar, spelling, consistency of terms, and completeness; ensure text and graphics adhere to corporate and organization guidelines.
- Arrange travel for the team and complete expense reports in a timely manner.
- Acquire, review, input, and format accurate data into mainframe, internet, spreadsheets, databases and other electronic tools.
- Interface and communicate with internal and external customers; direct people to the appropriate resource; research solutions and respond to email and phone inquiries after review by direct supervisor.
- Prepare documentation for payment of vendors, consultants and suppliers; submit documentation and enter requests for payments into accounting system; respond to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of improvement processes; actively participate in self and team audits and resulting process improvements.
- Develop a strong network within the department; draw on network to answer questions, solve problems and successfully execute responsibilities.
- Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
- Maintain confidentiality of all matters.

- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Associate degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field.
- One or more years of administrative experience.
- Exemplary customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Good math and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material; reach with arms and hands as needed.
