Our passionate Kitchen Managers use a growth mindset to develop menus, planning, and team work to better our school, and create nutritional meals for all the children.

Role Responsibilities:

* Create a welcoming, clean, and organized kitchen space.

* Use a growth mindset to develop menus, complete paperwork, and help when needed.

* We are looking for a team player. We want someone who will help staff as it comes to kitchen duties and build bonds.

* Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can eat nutritional meals.

* Communicate clearly, thoroughly, and respectfully to all staff and co-workers on the admin team.

* Support your center's success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.

* Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where the day-to-day kitchen responsibilities can happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

* At least 6 months of professional Kitchen experience preferred.

* High School Diploma/GED required. Higher education/College Classes preferred.

* Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety Texas Guidelines.

* Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.

* Food Handlers preferred.

Compensation: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow.

At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
