Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Dickinson, Texas. This is a contract-to-permanent position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong billing expertise and a proactive approach to managing financial tasks. The role will be entirely on-site, offering a casual work environment where collaboration and accuracy are key.

Responsibilities:

- Manage billing processes across multiple client portals with precision and efficiency.

- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action.

- Handle collections activities to ensure timely receipt of payments.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve workflows.

- Train on billing procedures and systems to maintain consistency and accuracy.

- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.

- Communicate effectively with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

- Utilize software tools, such as Viewpoint Spectrum, to support billing and accounts receivable tasks.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all processes.

- Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive team environment. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, particularly in billing and collections.

- Ability to work on-site in Dickinson, Texas.

- Proficiency in managing aging reports and resolving overdue accounts.

- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

- Familiarity with software tools, such as Viewpoint Spectrum, is a plus but not required.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to handle financial records.

- Ability to adapt and learn new billing portals and procedures.

- Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial tasks.
