Position Summary
:
The Operations Excellence Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement, standardization, and performance optimization across the organization. This role leads initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and operational best practices. The position partners closely with operations leadership to embed a culture of accountability, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.

• Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives across departments and sites
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements
• Drive measurable improvements in productivity, cost, quality, safety, and service levels
• Develop and maintain standard work, SOPs, and process documentation
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
• Establish and track KPIs aligned to operational and business objectives
• Develop dashboards and reporting for leadership
• Ensure improvement initiatives align with strategic goals
• Support annual operating plans, budgets, and cost-reduction targets
• Monitor performance and ensure corrective actions are executed
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline
• Coach leaders and teams on problem-solving methodologies
• Drive adoption of new processes and tools
• Influence without authority across functional and site leadership
• Ensure improvements are sustained through training and auditing
• Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, Finance, and R&D
• Support site leaders in improvement planning
• Align operational excellence initiatives with HSE and Quality systems
• Serve as a change agent for enterprise initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations, continuous improvement, or operational excellence
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent – Preferred
• Experience in multi-site or field-based operations – Preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial services, or logistics environments – Preferred
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and dashboarding skills – Preferred
• Familiarity with ERP and operational reporting systems – Preferred

• Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
• Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
