Program Director​/Air Personality

We are searching for an organized, talented and energetic individual with knowledge of broadcasting and an array of radio broadcast experience to help manage and coordinate radio programming and operations for our Classic Hits station.

Based in Dickson, TN this position includes working in close concert with the GM and Operations Director in the design, planning, coordinating and managing of program schedules, and is responsible for the acquisition and distribution of selected programs. You will also be responsible for radio master control operation; program air-shift and production duties;
Web content planning and updates; supervising on‑air staff; writing correspondence, reports and publications; assisting with special projects and events; and participating in on‑air live remotes. Schedules local and national programs, promotional material and public service announcements. Confers and participates with promotion and development departments in regard to special programs and events. We offer competitive pay and benefits:

Qualifications/Requirements:

You should have at least six years of radio broadcast programming and operations experience, including supervisory, and a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting or related field preferred. Familiarity and ease with computers and digital applications essential knowledge of Nex Gen and G-Selector a plus. Ability to work under deadline pressure as a team member or alone is essential. On‑Air and radio production skills required as is knowledge of Classic Hits format and handling live remote.

You will also serve as mentor and coach to on‑air talent. Experience updating and maintaining Web site content a plus.
