Toddler Teacher

Summary

Hiring a full‑time position working in our toddler classroom (30–40 hrs per week) teaching position.

• Minimum 1 year or more experience working with infants and/or toddler‑aged children (High School diploma or equivalent)
• Leadership qualities with good organization and a positive personality
• Team‑oriented, good communication skills
• Versatile individual who understands and applies teaching styles that embrace DAP (developmentally appropriate practice)

• Caring for a classroom of children either with a co‑teacher or solo (lead teacher)
• Providing the curriculum offered to the children in your classroom
• Adhere to schedule and rules set forth by the state of TN and DHS regarding childcare and regulated programs
• Communicate with families, children, other staff and administration
• Keep accurate training records yearly and complete new requirements as needed by the state of TN
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a positive attitude and disposition

• Pay ranges from $8.25–$13.00/hr (depending on experience/education)
• 4‑day work week, weekends off
