DES seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, regulatory compliance, capital planning, and the overall financial health of the utility. The role reports to the CEO and works with the DES Board.
Responsibilities include directing all accounting and finance functions, budgeting, audits, debt issuance, cash flow management, and ensuring GAAP, GASB, and FERC standards. CPA is required;
Master’s preferred. Ten years in municipal or utility finance, with at least five in leadership.
