NHC Health Care Dickson is seeking a dependable Part-Time Laundry team member to support a clean, comfortable environment for our patients and residents by ensuring linens and personal items are properly processed and returned.
Position ResponsibilitiesCollect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing according to established procedures.
Operate laundry equipment safely and appropriately.
Maintain separation of clean and soiled items.
Label, organize, and return patient and resident personal clothing as required.
Maintain a clean and orderly laundry area.
Monitor supplies and report equipment or supply needs.
Follow infection control, safety, sanitation, and NHC procedures.
Assist with additional environmental-services duties as assigned.
QualificationsDependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Previous laundry, housekeeping, or health care experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
