Tile Distribution - Material Handler Ii; 2Nd Shift

Job Summary

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate level Material Handler.

Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm‑11 pm, with possible overtime and Saturday work.

• Operate various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, perform inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays, move, store, replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience;
  Certified Sit‑Down Forklift Operator.
• 1+ years previous distribution/warehouse experience; minimum 6 months of stand‑up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.

• Basic English language proficiency.
• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.
• Dal‑Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks.

Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be required to sit, climb, or balance. May lift and move up to 75 lbs. Average picks per hour: 25; average weight 40‑70 lbs (50‑70 lbs 65% of shift, 20‑40 lbs 35%). May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, a range of temperatures, and loud noise.
