Sumiden Wire Products Corporation is seeking a talented Industrial Maintenance Technician. Prior Maintenance Experience in a Manufacturing facility is required. Recent Trade School graduates or top performers may be considered for this challenging role. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintains dependable operations of production and quality systems by ensuring safe and efficient function of all machinery and mechanical equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must have electrical and mechanical abilities Perform troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. Perform troubleshooting of complex control systems. Perform preventive maintenance as required on specified production machinery. Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintain parts, tools, and supplies inventory by following established programs within the department. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations. Reliable attendance and punctuality SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience with Multi-crafted skills. Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.

• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, gauges and dials

Licensed to operate forklift equipment. Proven steady work history. LANGUAGE / SPEAKING

SKILLS:

SKILLS:

Basic math, basic geometry, basic algebra, tolerances, and units of measurement. COMPUTER

SKILLS:

Basic computer skills are necessary. REASONING ABILITY: HIGH. - Perform routine maintenance/repairs, pick up tools and needed equipment. Push or Pull

- Perform routine maintenance/repairs, stock and remove equipment, parts, etc. Climb Ladders and Stairs Perform routine maintenance/repairs on rooftops and or 2nd level mezzanines. Grasp/Grip/Turning
- Handle tools and equipment, perform routine maintenance/repairs. Finger Dexterity
- Handle tools and equipment, perform routine maintenance/repairs. Writing – Document maintenance inventory, requisition requests, other required maintenance reports. Lifting/carrying (supplies, replacement parts, ladders, etc.): o Over 150 lbs. Rare need (less than 1% of the time) o 75 - 150 lbs. Occasional need (1% to 33% of the time) o 25 - 75 lbs. Frequent need (33% to 66% of the time) o 1 - 25 lbs.

Indoors (66% to 100% of the time). Frequently outdoors (33% to 66% of the time), all conditions, often for extended periods. Starting pay begins at $30.00 per hour, with the opportunity to increase up to $36.00 per hour upon successful completion of on-site training and required testing. Employees may further progress to a maximum of $40.00 per hour after five years of service, contingent upon successful completion of advanced training and testing requirements. Benefits:
