Job Overview

Position:
Material Handling/Receiving and Clean Operations at Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. Join our team to support plant operations and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and organization.

• Operate powered industrial trucks to receive materials into the plant and prepare them for stocking.
• Collaborate with the receiving clerk and other departments to ensure all shipments are unloaded in a timely manner.
• Maintain any paperwork obtained from freight lines and forward it to the appropriate person.
• Verify quantities on Bill of Lading documents signed for incoming trucks.
• Catalog items received in designated areas, following 5S and visual workplace standards.
• Operate powered floor scrubbers to keep floor surfaces clean and inspect equipment for peak performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and operating parameters set by equipment manufacturers.
• Monitor equipment and processes, reporting issues to supervisor.
• Maintain daily sign‑off sheets for all equipment operated.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
