Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Dickson, Tennessee

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3 shifts per week | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including laboring, recovering the mother, and receiving and transitioning the newborn including full assessment
• Manage and monitor patients across LDRP, OBED, NICU, and OR settings with appropriate patient ratios
• Assist with and support procedures including C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries
• Recognize and respond to OB emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Administer and manage inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil; perform fetal monitoring
• Conduct daily safety and patient experience rounding on all assigned patients

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including the ability to labor and recover the mother and transition the newborn
• Charge nurse experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal monitoring training and certification required

• Experience managing OB emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Familiarity with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
• Cross-training or experience in both LDRP and NICU settings

• Work alongside a highly experienced nursing team, including staff with decades of L&D expertise who serve as strong resources and preceptors
• This LDRP unit offers broad exposure to labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care — making it an excellent opportunity to expand and strengthen your clinical skill set
