Registered Nurse - Women's Services

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Full-time, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Women's Services unit. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in labor and delivery, with the capability to care for mothers throughout the labor and recovery process and manage the transition of newborns. Experience with high-risk scenarios such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to laboring mothers and their newborns.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and perform fetal assessments.
- Assist in complex deliveries including C-sections, forceps, and vacuum-assisted deliveries.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as needed according to protocols.
- Engage in daily and safety rounding on all patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care plans and adjustments as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license.
- BLS and NRP certification required.
- Fetal monitoring education and experience with inductions.
