Labor And Delivery Nurse
Provide specialized nursing care to laboring patients in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive childbirth experiences through expert clinical skills and compassionate support.
Responsibilities:
- Assess pregnant patients' conditions and monitor fetal well-being throughout labor.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- BLS and NRP certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient advocacy skills.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
