Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Dickson, Tennessee

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 8-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and those in the delivery process within a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and respond to obstetric emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately in the electronic medical record

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing;
  Tennessee licensure or compact eligibility required
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems used in hospital environments
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent

• Guaranteed hours provide stability and predictability throughout the duration of the assignment
