Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Days)

Dickson, Tennessee

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3 Shifts per Week | Rotating Weekends and Holidays | Projected Start:
September 7, 2026

• Labor, deliver, and recover obstetric patients within an LDRP unit setting, including assessment and transition of the newborn
• Monitor and manage patients through inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil, and assist with or support C-sections, vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries, circumcisions, and intra-uterine monitoring
• Recognize and respond to OB emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Provide couplet care and intermediate NICU care as needed, adhering to established patient ratios
• Document accurately using Meditech and CPN Central monitoring systems
• Perform daily safety rounding on all patients and adhere to unit-specific infant security policies including dress code requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, including the ability to labor and recover the mother and receive and transition the newborn
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal monitoring training and certification
• Experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil) and fetal monitoring

• Experience managing OB emergencies including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Cross-training or experience in both LDRP and NICU settings
