Medical Surgical Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring and promoting patient safety, comfort, and recovery throughout their hospital stay. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care aligned with clinical protocols and standards.

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
• Document patient care activities and progress in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.

• Valid Tennessee RN license or equivalent and current licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
• Hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
