Travel Med-Surg Orthopedic RNLocation: Dickson, TN
Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 AM End Time: 07:00 PM
Shift Type: Day Shift
Duration: 13 Weeks
This Registered Nurse position provides direct patient care in a medical-surgical orthopedic setting. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
Core Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical orthopedic patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably with orthopedic patients.
- Ability to perform post-operative care and manage patient needs effectively.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
