HVAC Service Technician

Clarks is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our retail stores and regional facilities. In this role, you will diagnose equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, complete emergency service calls, and ensure all systems meet safety, comfort, and energy efficiency standards crucial to the in store customer experience. You will read and interpret technical schematics, document all work performed, coordinate with store and facilities teams, and support small install/upgrade projects while upholding Clarks' commitment to reliability and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues in retail stores and facilities
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC and related equipment
• Respond to emergency service calls and prioritize critical issues
• Inspect systems to ensure safety, code compliance, and energy efficiency
• Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Document all work in maintenance systems with clear notes and parts used
• Coordinate with store, facilities, and vendors to schedule work with minimal disruption
• Support small HVAC upgrades, retrofits, and equipment replacements
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements to comfort and reliability
• Follow all safety procedures and Clarks policies while working on-site
