Tile Distribution - Material Handler ; Checker

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States. We are hiring a Checker to support our warehouse operations.

Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am‑2:30 pm with possible overtime or Saturday work.

• Pack, check, and verify orders for shipping.
• Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping.
• Label boxes with packing slip.
• Verify orders for accuracy.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keep the area safe, clean, and organized.
• Operate a sit‑down forklift.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Previous distribution/warehouse experience is a plus, not required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record‑keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 110 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
