Pay Range:$16-18 / Hour

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing all inventory & purchasing for a HVAC operation. This role ensures accurate tracking, purchasing, receiving, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment using
Service Titan
and/or
Sage
systems. The Inventory Specialist will maintain optimal stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and support field technicians with timely and accurate inventory fulfillment.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouse and service vehicles
• Monitor stock usage trends and place orders accordingly
• Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain proper min/max levels and reorder points

• Ensure accurate item setup, pricing, and cost tracking in Service Titan
• Maintain synchronization between Service Titan and Sage
• Process purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices in Sage
• Generate and analyze inventory and usage reports
• Ensure proper job costing and material allocation
• Transactions for purchase orders, receipts

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and availability
• Create and manage purchase orders
• Track shipments and resolve vendor discrepancies
• Maintain strong vendor relationships

• Establish and enforce warehouse procedures and safety standards
• Ensure proper organization, labeling, and storage of materials
• Coordinate daily material staging for service calls and installations
• Improve workflow efficiency and warehouse layout

• Coordinate with service managers and technicians to ensure truck stock accuracy
• Implement and manage truck restocking procedures
• Support emergency material requests

• 3+ years of inventory or warehouse management experience (plumbing/HVAC industry )
• Experience with
  Service Titan
  and/or
  Sage
• Strong understanding of job costing and inventory accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel and inventory reporting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment
