Job title: Casual Youth Support Worker (school holidays, evenings and Saturdays)

Role summary: Flexible casual work.

Job location: Oxford, Didcot, Bicester and various sites across Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £12.50 – £13.20 per hour (depending on experience and successful completion of probation period. Pay review expected in April 2026).

Job description: We are looking for people with professional experience of working with children to support young people who are autistic without a Learning Disability.

Flexible casual work available during:

  • SUMMER AND EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: Help us provide fun and sociable activities such as gaming, horse-riding, laser tag, axe throwing, and archery! You will support young people aged 8 – 18 who are fun-loving, engaging and autistic without a Learning Disability. Work is available Monday – Friday at various times and locations across Oxfordshire, including Oxford, Didcot, and Banbury. You will be given advance notice of the work available, asked for your availability, and allocated work according to your availability and our need.
  • TERM-TIME: Occasional work to provide staff cover at our youth groups in Oxford and Wolvercote. Work is available on occasional Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Professional experience of working with young people in a group setting is essential. It is essential that you can communicate effectively with young autistic young people, possess good social skills, participate in busy and active play and leisure activities, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
