Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based within a high-profile pharmaceutical site in Didcot, Oxford. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static commercial contract, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all electrical and building services systems.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a critical or regulated environment. Hours of WorkMonday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems
- Electrical maintenance, including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, and power distribution
- Carry out emergency lighting testing and support fire alarm compliance checks
- Monitor and operate BMS systems, including hot & cold temperature monitoring
- Carry out maintenance on pumps, motors, and associated plant equipment
- Assist with minor plumbing duties including unblocking toilets and basic repairs
- Maintain and update compliance records, reports, and site logbooks
- Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site - Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain a professional and client-facing approach at all times
- Salary:
Up to £48,200 per annum - 24 days holiday + public holidays

- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- AM2 qualification (Highly Desirable)
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (Highly Desirable)
- Strong background in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled with a good understanding of general building services
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or within a team
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
