The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a busy property maintenance team delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and installation work across residential properties.

This is a customer-facing role where you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, completing electrical installations, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs and maintenance works within occupied and vacant properties.
  • Complete remedial works, rewires, kitchen and bathroom upgrade installations, emergency lighting and alarm systems.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and achieve first-time fixes wherever possible.
  • Conduct electrical testing, inspections and surveys, producing accurate reports and documentation.
  • Ensure repairs are completed within agreed response times and to a high standard.
  • Use handheld technology to manage job scheduling, updates and completion records.
  • Support colleagues on larger projects and work collaboratively across the maintenance team.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
  • Manage vehicle stock, materials and tools effectively and safely.

About You :

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • ECS or CSCS card.
  • Experience carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance within domestic properties.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
  • Good IT skills and experience using mobile job management systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • A full UK driving licence.
