- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your experience and qualification level)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Guaranteed standard weekday schedule with STRICTLY ZERO WEEKENDS)

Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, close-knit team in Didcot. You will carry out routine vehicle servicing, systematically troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, complete maintenance work across various makes and models, and ensure high "first-time fix" quality standards.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven workshop track record
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Active MOT Tester licence or F-Gas certification is preferred, but not required
- Reliable, self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail and a great work ethic
- Base: Didcot (Clean, modern, fully equipped independent workshop with free on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Convenient access via the A34 corridor, providing fast daily commutes across Oxfordshire
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Didcot Parkway mainline railway station alongside regional bus routes
- Commutable From: Abingdon, Wantage, Wallingford, Oxford, Reading, High Wycombe, and surrounding local areas
