File Opening Coordinator | New Brunswick

Our NB firm has an immediate opening for a File Opening Coordinator. This position is permanent full‑time.

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough client and file conflict checks;
  • Generate New Case Report daily for circulation;
  • Post property disbursements;
  • Open client files once conflict search is complete;
  • Assist with overflow when required and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures;
  • All tasks must be performed with a high degree of detail and accuracy; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent proficiency in English, verbal and written communication;
  • 1–2 years of experience working in a professional office environment;
  • Office Administration diploma from a recognized post‑secondary institution is an asset;
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft applications;
  • Attention to detail is a must as well as strong organizational and time‑management skills; and
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment meeting tight deadlines, as well as multi‑task as needed.
