Position: Fire Alarm Technician with Viking
Advance your career as a Fire Alarm Technician in Victoria with Viking, earning $30 to $46 hourly. Perform essential inspections and correct installations of fire alarm systems.

The Fire Alarm Technician role reports directly to the Operations Manager and involves a range of responsibilities, including performing system inspections, installing fire alarm equipment, and preparing detailed service reports. You will also answer client inquiries and offer recommendations for system enhancements while adhering to safety protocols. Collaboration and independent work will be key for effectively fulfilling the job’s demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete inspections of fire alarm systems annually

• Install and repair various fire alarm setups

• Conduct functional checks and system evaluations

• Maintain accurate documentation and service reports

• Respond to scheduled service calls on an 8-week basis

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years as a Fire Alarm Technician

• CFAA/ASTT certification required

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Must hold a valid driver’s license

• Ability to achieve security clearance for Defence work
