Temporary-Transitional Kindergarten- Elementary POOL

Position: Temporary-TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN- ELEMENTARY POOL
Dinuba Unified School District

The Dinuba Unified School District teacher, under the direct supervision of the Site Principal plans and supervises work of assigned classified or student personnel. An elementary teacher creates a flexible elementary grade program and a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education, in accordance to each pupil's ability;

to establish productive and positive relationships with parents and with other staff members.

POSITION AVAILABLE: TEMPORARY TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN- ELEMENTARY POOL

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possess valid Multiple Subject, General, Standard Elementary or other credential authorizing service at the elementary level.
2. Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English language learners/CLAD 3. Two to three years of successful elementary and/or preschool Classroom experience is preferred. 4. ONE of the following is required upon hire:
• At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both.
• Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in number 1.
• A child development teacher permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

3. Resume 4. Three current letters of reference are required. This must include two letters from a current or former supervisor and one letter from a colleague, coworker, or personal reference.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications listed below will not move forward in the selection process. Please review your transcripts carefully.
1.Education Requirement: A minimum of 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), or a combination of both. Transcripts may reflect coursework labeled as "ECE
- Early Childhood Education" and/or "CD
- Child Development." 2.Experience Requirement:
Professional experience in a preschool classroom setting that is comparable to the 24 semester units described above.
3. Credential Requirement: A valid Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
