1. Associates (AA) or higher degree OR completed two years of higher education study. 2. One year of child/youth related experience or equivalent.
3. Perform a variety of technical library duties in the circulation, maintenance and distribution of books and instructional materials.
4. Assist students and teachers in the selection, location and use of library materials and equipment.
5. Learn curriculum, reading levels and appropriate reference materials.
6. Maintain library in a neat and orderly condition.
7. Monitor and maintain acceptable student behavior in the library.
8. Process and shelve library materials.
9. Operation of a computer and assigned software. 10. Maintain records and prepare reports. 11. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 12. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 13. Type or input data at an acceptable rate of speed. Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. 14. Complete work with many interruptions. 15. Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency.

This form can be found on the District website. After the 5th working day, a full classified application is required if an in-house candidate wishes to apply.
